Our annual trip to the Northwoods was a little different this year. We outgrew the place we had been going to for 31 years, Afterglow, and it was time to move on to a bigger place that could accommodate our ever growing family. We were lucky to find Scott's resort, which happened to have a family just cancel, that rented the whole resort (6 cabins) the last week of June that was just 15 minutes away from our old resort. That meant that we could still continue to do some of our traditions like a night in Eagle River and staying at a hotel about half way up there Friday night. We had a great time at Scott's Resort and it was nice to not have to squeeze everyone into 4 cabins!
A great way to start a road trip...everyone is asleep! Renee was only 3 weeks on this trip and she did a great job. |
