At home with Renee

After 3 days at the hospital, Renee and I came home to join Scott, Addison and Caroline (and my mom and dad since we are living with them currently).

We took a lot of pictures of our new family of 5.  Addison and Caroline were being very silly again and I think this picture really captures a good "crazy" moment that is our life right now.  And pretty typical of Renee, she is sleeping.

Meet Renee Joanne Bailey!

 

Renee Joanne Bailey was born the morning of June 3rd, 2013.  She was 8 pounds and 20.5 inches long.  Perfection.  She is cute as a button and has been pretty easy going and laid back.  We could not ask for anything better!  We love her so much and Addison & Caroline love their new baby sister!

 

Here I am around 5:30am, right before we left for the hospital.  The c-section went well and the recovery was better than the last time which I was thankful for.

Going home!

 

Our time in the hospital was pretty restful and great considering Renee was only a few days old.  I am thankful for all the great nurses and doctors who took care of me and Renee.  It was also a lot of fun to have visitors this time around since we were not allowed to have any with Addison and Caroline since they were born during the swine flu season.  It was a lot of fun and thanks to everyone who visited us!  We thank God for Renee's safe arrival and that my surgery and recovery went well!
