Zoo and Nature Museum

On a relatively warm day in November we headed to Lincoln Park Zoo.  It was one of those great days where there were not many people there.  Scott thinks that was his first time going to Lincoln Park Zoo which is just crazy to me.

Since it was cooler outside the animals were pretty active which always makes a zoo visit better.

After the zoo we headed to the Nature Museum just across the street.  Addison and Caroline took a few minutes to warm up to all the butterflies flying haphazardly around them but they eventually did and loved it.

Family Fun Fest and Halloween

Towards the end of October our church, Winnetka Covenant Church, held a fundraiser for the new playground.  It included a lot of fun games and a kids concert by Jeannie B!  Fun was had by all who came!

They even turned the hose on for a minute!  The kids loved it.

This year Addison was sick on Halloween so Caroline and I headed out trick-or-treating with the cousins around Cam and Linnea's neighborhood.  Lucia even joined us this year!

She was right there with everyone getting her share of candy.  It was really funny to watch her.  She caught on to what was going on really quickly!

Leaves, being silly and Scott's birthday

Once the leaves finally started to fall, Addison and Caroline loved playing with them which was a big change from last year.  Their favorite thing to do was to collect them in the pool and then slide down into them.
