Memorial Day, Randoms and Outside Fun

The Johnson girls waiting for the Memorial Day parade to start

Our last picture as a family of 4.  Despite the picture, Addison (right) and Caroline (left) enjoyed the parade.

One of the benefits of living at my parents is how close we are to the beach.  We have already been several times and the girls really enjoy it.  Here is Caroline looking for a good spot to make her sand castle.

Addison bringing sand to her castle.

Felling how freezing the water is with Daddy.

Scott has been on a big baseball kick with the girls and they have been really enjoying it.  Here is Caroline at bat.

Addison pitching to Caroline.

The tee Scott set up for them.

There were severe storms with really heavy rain that came through one day.  We opened up the french doors in the front room to watch the rain.

My Dad's 60th Surprise Birthday Party

My dad turned 60 at the end of May and the weekend before his birthday we threw him a surprise party.  My sisters, mom and I had fun planning it and pulling it all together to make the party a success!  He had no idea and lots of his friends and family came out to celebrate him.  Fun was had by all...enjoy all the pictures because there are a lot!

And after pretty much everyone joked about how someone needed to sleep in the bed Sonja finally did.  She said she was tired but did not want to leave the party.
